What’s involved in making your own beer?
Brew your own beer using professional quality ingredients, equipment, and our “true-to-style” recipes. The Brewing Experience supplies the freshest top quality pale malt barley extract, malted barley grains (crystal, munich, chocolate, roasted, black patent), special varietal sugars, imported hops and yeasts. And, of course, no preservatives or additives are used.
First, arrange a brewing time with us. It usually takes about an hour to brew a batch. If this is your first time brewing your own beer talk to our knowledgeable staff to find a recipe that suits your tastes, learn to use the equipment, and guide you through the brewing process. When the brewing is done, pitch the yeast to begin the fermentation process and we'll take care of the rest.
Your beer will be ready 3 weeks from the brewing date and you’ll set up a time to come bottle your beer. Usually it takes around an hour to sterilize and fill your bottles. We have 1L and 500mL bottles available for purchase, or you can bring your own. Almost any plastic bottle is acceptable (no glass or cans) and you may reuse them as many times as you like! Or, arrange to take the keg out to use with your home draft system.

New to wine making? Here's what we do.
First, choose which type of wine you’d like to make from our wine list. Each of our regular wines is available in three levels of quality: 4-week concentrate, 6-week juice concentrate, and 6-week 100% juice. When you’ve selected a wine and a quality level, simply drop by to start the fermentation process by pitching the yeast and we do the rest!
Your wine will be ready in 4-6 weeks at which time you’ll set up a bottling appointment at your convenience. Bring your own bottles, or purchase new ones from us, then wash, sterilize, and bottle your wine!
We also have labels and shrink caps available to add that special touch.
